Canadian country recording artists Rob Kirkham and Neon Rain are on the fast track to success! From playing the small Honkytonks across Ontario to playing for one of country music’s biggest fan base. Neon Rain has proven to be a force to be reckoned with. From their first CD release selling out in 90 minutes and being nominated for The Best Country Recording of the Year at The Hamilton Music Awards in 2008, to their next release entitled The Seven Year Itch, will be available for purchase October 1 2010. Rob Kirkham and Neon Rain have played on the same stages with Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dry County and Jamie Warren just to name a few.

Internationally they have fans that stretch as far as Ireland, U.S.A Germany and New Zealand where they have received airplay on many country radio stations. “Our fans are the best in the business” boasts Kirkham “some travel up to 8 hours to see us play” Currently Neon Rain entertains in cities across Ontario 48 weeks of the year and is planning to embark on a Western Canadian tour in the spring of 2011.

Amendment: The year 2010 has been a blast, From The Tillsonburg music festival, Summer blast in St Thomas playing in front of Jessie Farrell, Anthony Gomes and Dry County and Headlining the International ploughing match also in St Thomas.

Under Launch records our C.D release of the “Seven Year Itch” was released to Canadian, New Zealand and German radio on Aug 30th 2010 and was celebrated on Oct 1st 2010 at The Oakwood Place in Hamilton, Ontario. With Mike Nabuurs and Becky Coles from New Country 820 CHAM hosting the event it turned into a fast paced exciting night with a full club.

Proceeds went to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

This Seven year itch has received airplay in Canada, Sweden, Germany, Austria and New Zealand.

On November 13th 2010 Rob Kirkham along with Kenny Ef from Neon Rain will be singing in the Hamilton Santa Claus parade for Re-think Breast Cancer group. And on November 21st 2010 Rob Kirkham and Neon Rain are nominated for a second Hamilton Music Award for best country recording.
